Thursday afternoon 17/02/2011
 
The philosophy lesson just finished but I didn't even pay attention, I was rambling on a random page to my book writing down how mad I am the last days.
 
"Ms Sanshi, the lesson is over dear but I guess you didn't even pay attention today. Something wrong?", my teacher came closer to me with her hands behind her back.
 
"Um.... I'm fine Mrs Elliot. Thank you for asking anyway. Have a nice day.", I grabbed my bag and went out of the class.
 
I didn't want to go out of the college. Why? Mr Fowler was waiting for me in his car. Of course I didn't want to see his face.
 
This week has been a living hell. I can't go literally nowhere without him. He always has this judging look like everything I do is so wrong.
 
While I was so busy with my thoughts, I felt someone grabbing my hand. I turned my head and I saw Serene grinning at me.
 
"Hey", I just shrugged.
 
"You lucky b.itch!!! Is he your new boyfriend? Why you haven't said a word all this time? So in love uh?", she had that weird look on her face.
 
"What are you talking about, geez girl! He's the detective from the police station, after Erica's death he has to be around me cos I'm not safe. Well that's what he said.", I winced.
 
"Uh uh..... Are you sure it's ONLY that? Your cheeks are flushing when you are talking about him. By the way his name is....?", she started grinning at me again and winking at me.
 
"He's a real mess Serene!! I hate him!!! I can't even go shopping without him being around!", I complained.
 
"I wish I had this mess in my life too....", she sighed deeply.
 
"By the way I only know his surname. Mr Fowler. You happy now?", I winced again.
 
"Oh god even his surname is sexy!", she clapped her hands like a kid.
 
My cell rang and it was him again. "What now!", I almost growled.
 
"Get your as.s out of school NOW! I won't wait forever in the car.", he commanded.
 
"Whatever!!!", I just hung up.
 
"Have fun sweetie!", Serene giggled and kissed my cheek before she left.
 
I was steaming. Gosh I so hate him.... maybe not..... or....?

Friday morning 11/02/2011
 
I was ready to go to school but my cell phone rang unexpectedly. Who would call me 7am in the morning?
 
"Mrs Ariel Sanshi? Detective Fowler here. Come to the police station in around 30 minutes. We have a lot to say", I heard a blunt male voice and before I reply he hung up.
 
Obviously I had to skip school and change my clothes to something more formal. I had to hurry up, the detective's voice sounded very serious.

(45 mins later at the police station)
 
"I said 30 mins Mrs Sanshi not 45. Next time I would appreciate if you were not late."
 
Detective Fowler was very charming, around 30 years old with black hair and dark brown eyes. I would expect that he would wear more professional attire and be shaved. Wrong. He was wearing his jeans and t-shirt and he was not shaved.
 
"My name is Ariel", I winced.
 
I was expecting he would say his name but he just gave me that look, piercing and dominating, pointing me the chair with his finger.
 
"You know why you are here Mrs Ariel?", he lighted a cigarrette.
 
"I guess cos of Erica's death?", I shrugged.
 
He almost threw the papers on my face. Wow what a gentleman? Let's say that his charming look made me surpass this one. Did I say charming? Hm well he was more than charming, he was incredibly sexy.
 
"Someone wants you dead Mrs Ariel cos you are searching all this time about your parents if they are your real ones. We have a lot of research to do. By the way you will need protection 24/7. The chief said that I will be the one.", he said with a serious tone on his voice.
 
"You can go for now and I will call you later.", he got up and showed me the exit. He didn't even let me to say a word? Not even how I feel?
 
Men.... what you expect? I just grabbed my bag confused and left the police station. Was I doomed that my life was in danger or blessed that I would have such a gorgeous bodyguard 24/7?
